Colombia

The most mega diverse country in the world, held together by South America's umbilical cord, hosting a variety of ecosystems and climates.

Its six regions (Caribbean, Insular, Pacific, Andean, Orinoquia, and Amazon) make it unique, creating unique habitats for ornithology, in addition to its incredible landscapes, making it one of our favorite destinations.

Colombia currently has the greatest bird diversity in the world, ranking first with 1,966 species, or 20% of the global total, according to WWF.
